That's pretty much most of it. Decided to post this in English since there was an increase of foreign visitor in this blog lately, and because I want to promote this blog to wider range of audience (sorry for my bad English, lol).

Most of the reprints were already anticipated long before this, but some of them (especially the Nova Grapplers) were not. The inclusion of Perfect Raizer and Beast Deity, Azure Dragon is quite an surprise for me, as is Circle Magus (considering the fact that it was one of two PRs for the current Trigger campaign) and the rarity downgrade for Battle Sister, Cocoa. RR to R is very acceptable, but RRR to R is too much.

Both sets also contained reprints of Trial Deck exclusive cards from TD03 - Golden Mechanical Soldier and TD04 - Maiden Princess of the Cherry Blossoms, respectively. But not every cards were reprinted here, though. EB04 lacked Super Electromagnetic Lifeform, Storm and Battering Minotaur while EB05 lacked Sword Dancer Angel and Battle Sister, Maple. Other that that, the Battle Sisters-themed EB05 also excluded another Battle Sisters unit, the relatively new Battle Sister, Eclair from BT07 - Rampage of the Beast King (oddly, Glace and Souffle from the same set are still reprinted here).

Also, at least 1 card from EB04 and 2 cards form EB05 will got an alternate art. Both Perfect Raizer and CEO Amaterasu were confirmed to get a new art, and Silent Tom is confirmed to be printed with it's Korean version art in here.

• EB04/006 - Grade 2, considering the placement
• EB04/012 - Another Grade 2
• EB04/019 - Another Grade 2 (highly possible to be another 10k)

• EB04/029 - Trigger

Celestial Valkyries

• EB05/002 - Grade 3 w/ Limit Break (confirmed)
• EB05/005 - Either a Grade 3 or Grade 2, maybe the latter
• EB05/019 - Possibly a Grade 2 (might be another 10k)
• EB05/028 - Either a Grade 1 or Starting Vanguard
• EB05/031 to EB05/033 - New set of Triggers (hope for one with Margal-like effect)

Basic build untuk kedua Chain Ride, keduanya sama-sama mengandalkan Stand Trigger untuk mendukung Limit Break masing-masing dengan total 8 Stand Trigger (walaupun Neo Nectar harus menunggu full list BT08 untuk mendapat Stand Trigger tambahan). Sebagai alternatif, susunan 6 Stand dan 2 Critical juga bisa digunakan di kedua deck untuk memberikan lebih banyak pressure kepada lawan.

Untuk Neo Nectar, saya memilih unit-unit dengan base power yang besar untuk memaksimalkan Limit Break Sephirot. Seperti yang sudah disinggung di post sebelumnya, dengan susunan field yang tepat, *uhuk* Power Line *uhuk* yang dicapai mampu menyentuh 26000. Bisa dibilang hampir semua unit non-vanilla dengan power standard (7000 untuk grade 1, 9000 untuk grade 2, dan 10000 untuk grade 3) bisa menjadi pilihan untuk deck ini,

Sementara untuk Dimension Police, saya menggunakan deck Enigman Rain - Miracle Beauty sebagai basis (sebelumnya saya belum bernah menggunakan deck DimPol btw). Pilihan kartu yang ada juga sebenarnya cukup standar. Quilt digunakan untuk me-recycle kartu di hand, dan bisa digantikan dengan Cosmo Roar. Bisa juga digunakan Enigship jika anda membutuhkan base power yang lebih besar.

Zeal Series

Lagi-lagi Chain Ride...

Yup, satu lagi Chain Ride terbaru dari BT08...

Sedikit berbeda dari efek Chain Ride lainnya yang menghasilkan plus (draw, Superior Call) ketika sukses melakukan ride, efek dari Zeal Series, termasuk Galactic Beast, Zeal, lebih terfokus untuk mengurangi power Vanguard lawan (klik pada gambar untuk melihat efek masing-masing).

Dengan efek seperti ini, deck berbasis Zeal bisa dibilang lebih condong ke arah rush deck. Walaupun terkesan riskan mengingat Limit Break sudah menjadi staple di metagame sekarang.

Strategi untuk deck berbasis Zeal kemungkinan akan terfokus pada Stand atau Critical seperti build Enigman Rain / Enigman Storm. Mengganti engine Enigman dengan engine Zeal sepertinya cukup mungkin. Walaupun menghilangkan konsistensi yang dimiliki engine Enigman dan kemampuan melakukan Infinite Attack pada build Enigman Rain, Limit Break Zeal mampu memaksa lawan untuk mengeluarkan shield hingga 15k untuk setiap serangan jika kita memiliki field yang penuh.

Kita lihat saja nanti apakah deck ini meampu bersaing dengan deck-deck lain di metagame saat ini, terutama Chain Ride SDD yang saat ini mendominasi metagame English dan Sephirot yang sepertinya memiliki potensi...

Sephirot

Kembali lagi dengan kami di Resistance's Blog. Dan sesuai dengan judul post kali ini, kami (sebenarnya sih 'saya' berhubung yang ngepost biasanya juga cuma 1 orang) akan membahas mengenai kartu terbaru dari BT08, Arborous Dragon, "Sephirot".

Walaupun sejatinya bisa ngeplus besar-besaran + dapat defense 11k kalau sukses nge-ride sampai ke grade 3, keunggulan utama dari Chain Ridenya sendiri bukan terletak dari plus yang dihasilkan tapi dari Limit Break milik Sephirot. Everything else (yak, termasuk defense 11k) is a bonus~

Limit Break milik Sephirot sebenarnya cukup sederhana, semua Neo Nectar di field mendapat tambahan efek "[CONT](VC)/(RC):During your turn, if you have another unit with the same name as this unit on your (VC) or (RC), this unit gets [Power] +3000". Walaupun begitu, dari sini bisa dihasilkan *uhuk* Power Line *uhuk* yang gila-gilaan.


Booster 7000 yang biasanya cuma jadi sekadar pelengkap (dan sering melempem di hadapan Cross-Ride) tiba-tiba bisa jadi booster 10000 dan yang 8000 tahu-tahu bisa jadi 11000, lebih dari cukup untuk membuat *uhuk* Power Line *uhuk* 20000 atau 21000. Bahkan kalau mau nge-troll, anda bisa panggil 2-3 Draw Trigger buat jadi booster 8000.

Tidak hanya itu, unit 10000 manapun (termasuk Sephirot atau si Nanas Tusbol) tiba-tiba bisa jadi Palamedes selama ada klon-nya di field. Total *uhuk* Power Line *uhuk* yang dihasilkan bisa menembus angka 26000 dengan susunan field yang tepat (dan sedikit luck).

Dan berhubung Neo Nectar kemungkinan besar bakal mendapat set Trigger baru di BT08, 8 Stand Trigger sepertinya akan menjadi pilihan yang bagus untuk deck Neo Nectar berbasiskan Chain Ride Sephirot. Stand Laurel dengan power 15k ketika nyerang Vanguard itu sakit, apalagi di era Limit Break yang kebanyakan Vanguard-nya punya base power 10000.
